We wanted to share a recent example of the type of property clearance projects we regularly handle at Windrush Valley House Clearance. We were recently approached by a solicitor who needed a quote for clearing a three-bedroom house near Oxford city centre. The property had unfortunately been used as a dumping ground by the previous tenant, and the sheer amount of waste and junk that had accumulated was quite unbelievable.

What initially seemed like a daunting task soon became a rewarding challenge for our team. The house was packed with all sorts of items, from old furniture to general rubbish and years’ worth of stored belongings. Undeterred, our team rolled up their sleeves and managed to clear everything out within just two days. To really highlight the transformation, we took a set of photos before we started and another set once the property was completely cleared – the difference was truly remarkable.

The solicitor was delighted not only with the speed and efficiency of our work but also with the end result. We made sure the property was left clean, tidy, hoovered, and swept, leaving it ready for its next tenant to move straight in.

This project is a great example of the kind of property clearance work we take on, no matter how cluttered or challenging the space. Our aim is always to clear properties quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption. Furthermore, we are proud to say that everything we remove is either recycled (with a 98% recycling rate) or rehomed, and we are fully licensed and insured for both commercial and domestic property clearance.

Of course we can, we deal with many Oxfordshire Solicitors and Estate Agents on a daily basis.
If it helps we can liaise with the Solicitor or Estate Agent by picking up and dropping off the keys for both the clearance and the Quote!
We can even work with the local Council or Housing association or the neighbour next door.
We have performed hundreds if not thousands of House clearances across the years, so we are used to dealing with all kinds of different scenarios, plus we offer a free Key drop and collection service which has proved to be extremely popular over the years as this takes the stress out of having to let us in at the start of the clearance, which is usually early in the morning and being there at the end of the clearance.

Please do not worry, on many occasions we complete a clearance where there are items that the family would like to keep. In this incidence you clearly mark any items to stay, we usually gather the items in one room so they are in safekeeping. This is not uncommon and applies to nearly every clearance that we complete.
