Flat Clearance Case Study, Oxford City Centre August 2021

Flat Clearance Case Study

Flat Clearance Case Study

With a flat clearance case study, Windrush Valley House Clearance Ltd. has been able to continue to work throughout the pandemic as we ask that the properties we clear are left empty before we visit, enabling our team to conduct their work with care. On this occasion, a family got in touch about a house clearance for a first floor flat in Oxford City Centre that needed to be emptied when the resident was moved into a care home.

The clearance started at 8.30 am with a team of 3 workmen.

When we entered the property, we soon realised that we were going to fill the Luton Van with at least 2 Loads of unwanted Furniture.

This didn’t stop as we just got stuck in and started removing the larger items first i.e beds, wardrobes etc

Once we had filled the first Van, we proceeded to a Local recycling centre where 90% of everything we tip is recycled.

The wood, plastic, metal, glass, material is all recycled and turned into new products.

We then went back to get the last load and tidy up and seep up.

I called the Customer 1 hour before completion so that they could return to a clean and tidy flat.

They were over the moon and left us a fantastic review on Checkatrade.

Of course we can, we deal with many Oxfordshire Solicitors and Estate Agents on a daily basis.
If it helps we can liaise with the Solicitor or Estate Agent by picking up and dropping off the keys for both the clearance and the Quote!
We can even work with the local Council or Housing association or the neighbour next door.
We have performed hundreds if not thousands of House clearances across the years, so we are used to dealing with all kinds of different scenarios, plus we offer a free Key drop and collection service which has proved to be extremely popular over the years as this takes the stress out of having to let us in at the start of the clearance, which is usually early in the morning and being there at the end of the clearance.

Please do not worry, on many occasions we complete a clearance where there are items that the family would like to keep. In this incidence you clearly mark any items to stay, we usually gather the items in one room so they are in safekeeping. This is not uncommon and applies to nearly every clearance that we complete.

Big fine for fly tipping
